Scott Chancellor is the Chief Executive Officer of Humu. As Humu’s CEO, Scott is deeply committed to building a product and a talented team to achieve the company’s mission of making work better.
Scott is a proven growth-oriented leader with over 20 years of experience leading teams at high-growth technology companies at various stages–from startup to Fortune 100.
He joins Humu from Apptio where he spent the past three years in the role of Chief Product & Technology Officer. During his time there, he oversaw a period of rapid product and revenue growth for the company, leading its expansion into the Cloud Financial Management and Enterprise Agile Planning markets, while modernizing and revitalizing Apptio’s core product offering.
Prior to joining Apptio, Chancellor spent over seven years at Amazon Web Services, where he founded and led the company’s AWS Insights organization as General Manager and was responsible for several of AWS’s most-used services, including all of its cloud financial management services.
Scott has also held roles at Hewlett-Packard, Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo), and the United States Department of Defense. He is a graduate of the University of Washington and Harvard Business School.
Scott lives in the Seattle area and is the father of two teenagers and two Cavapoo puppies, Gizmo and Dexter (or Gizmund and Pointdexter when they’re being spicy). When he isn’t spending time with family or working, you can find him reading, flying planes, paddle boarding, cycling (Zwift!!), working as an advisor to ESG-focused startups, or participating in triathlons (he is a nationally-ranked age group triathlete).
